CIVILIANS is a six piece alt-jazz-rock-jam band from Brooklyn. Stylistically they’re kind of a cross between Snarky Puppy and the rock band Chicago, with a generous helping of Pink Floyd and Frank Zappa thrown in. All of the members are recent graduates of the prestigious New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in Manhattan. So it goes without saying that they’re all amazing players.
